    Congratulations to Royce Lewis as he has been selected by the Minnesota Twins as the #1 overall pick in the 2017 Major League Draft. Among the many of Royce's awards include California's Gatorade Player of the Year, National High School Coaches Association high school Player of the Year and a 3-time Trinty League Player of the Year award winner. Lewis becomes the first Orange County player to be the #1 overall pick out of High School.

  • Comeback Falls Short In CIF Opener

    The Lions trailed by 3 in the bottom of the 7th and rallied for 2 runs but fell short and lost to Foothill in the opening round of the CIF playoffs, 9-8. Michael Curialle went 3 for 4 with 2 triples, 5 RBI and a run. Royce Lewis and Nick Lopez both had 2 hits. The Lions end their 2017 season 17-13 overall and second place (9-6) in the Trinity League.

  • Lions Take Series & League 2nd Place

    Thought the Lions came up short on their 4th League title in a row, a season finale win over Bosco, 1-0, put them in 2nd place in the Trinity League. Preston Miller's RBI double was the difference in the game. Cole Samuels pitched 5 shut-out innings giving up just 4 hits. Keegan Wright pitched 2 perfect innings with 6 straight strikeouts for the save.
